Chief Operating Officer/Community Engagement

Melanie Moody is Chief Operating Officer for Community Engagement at Gigabit Squared. Melanie Moody has more than 25 years of IT, Information Security and Operations experience with Fortune 50 companies and not-for-profit organizations.  She has strong leadership skills and has worked closely with a wide range of internal and external partners to deliver IT solutions for large, global organizations.  Melanie’s collaboration skills and ability to understand customers’ needs has allowed her to be effective in corporate, academic and community projects.  Melanie has a passion for helping organizations and people envision what can be accomplished and then developing a clear path to achieve it.

Melanie retired from Procter & Gamble as an Associate Director in the Global Business Services Business Unit where she held roles of increasing responsibility in IT Operations, Information Security, Consumer Solutions and Human Resources.  Prior to joining P&G Melanie worked for ExxonMobil in Houston, Texas in several IT roles.

Melanie earned a BS degree in Information Systems from Indiana University and an MBA in Finance from Purdue University.  In addition to her professional work, Melanie is a member of the Board of Directors of INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati and the Seasongood Foundation for Good Government.  She is also a member of the Board
